Omni HTML Reporting Template

A guide to building consistent, accessible, and visually clear HTML reports in Quarto

Overview

This template is a collection of tested, reusable HTML components designed to help Omni staff produce clean, professional reports and data summaries directly in Quarto (.qmd files). Rather than starting from scratch each time, you can pull the components that best fit your content and drop them into your own project — all styled automatically through the shared styles.css file.

The components here are organized by type and purpose. Each section includes a live example, the raw code, and guidance on when to use that component, why it may be a better choice than alternatives, and any limitations to keep in mind. Think of this as a living style guide: as Omni’s reporting needs grow, new components can be added here.

This resource is intended for internal use within Omni Institute. It may be shared externally only in the context of project proposals or as an example for prospective clients.
